Train a Dragon This Spring Break!

(MS) -- There may be no better time than a week-long break to train a pet. But why settle for house-training a new puppy or kitten when you can test your child's commitment with a virtual dragon? The Harvard School of Public Health states that the average 8- to 18-year-old spends nearly seven hours each day involved with some form of media, so why not join your child in their epic dragon-training adventure this spring. Activision's How to Train Your Dragon(TM), which is based on the upcoming film from DreamWorks Animation, is a game that the whole family will love. How to Train Your Dragon, rated "E10+" by the ESRB, launches players into a medieval third-person action-adventure as a Viking hero, where they must embark upon an epic quest to explore an island of unending challenges and become the ultimate dragon trainer.

Train Your Dragon Indoors or Out

Whether your family prefers to train dragons as in- or outdoor pets, both options couldn't be more fun on the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS(TM). First, customize your dragon with the "Create Your Dragon" feature, offering six different types of dragons and providing countless ways to modify not only your dragon's appearance, but his abilities as well. Once you've created your dragon, you can then start training as you "Level Up" its speed, power, fire, and more through challenges and training, preparing your child for the ultimate Viking quest of taking the dragon to battle.

Going on a road-trip this Spring break? No need to neglect your dragon. The addictive multiplayer mode on the Nintendo DS(TM) makes it the ideal companion for Spring road trips, encouraging friends and family members to spend time together as they train their dragons and battle each other in a variety of unique arenas.

How to Train Your Dragon is available for PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360(R), Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS(TM).
